THE OAKS Adventure Programs

THE OAKS has seven professionally facilitated adventure activities emphasizing faith building and fun! These are great for all camp and conference groups, schools, ministry teams, small group fellowships and boards of directors.

High Ropes – Our high ropes course consists of eight elements, six of which are individual challenges (split between two triangular circuits) that stand 25 feet high. The other two are partner challenges that, when conquered by you and your teammate, put you an elevation of 50 feet off the ground.
Zip Line – Our zip line gives you one of the best views of camp as you fly down 300 feet looking out over a canyon.
• Leap of Faith – Climb to the top of a twenty-five foot pole and try to shoot a basketball through a hoop suspended thirty feet above the ground; or climb a pole and aim to jump out and catch the trapeze bar.
• Paintball – Our Paintball Speedball field is a great place to try one of the fastest growing recreational activities out there. All equipment and instruction provided. Paintball can be a great teambuilding experience, or just an element of fun to bring to your retreat.
• Rappelling – Rappelling is a good way to push your limits and learn more about trust and commitment. Discover self-confidence as you control your descend backwards over our 60 foot rock-face.
• Rock Climbing – Learn the art of rock climbing and belaying on our twenty-five to forty-five foot natural cliffs. It’s a great partner activity that builds communication and trust.
• Team Building – Teambuilding is a great way to have fun and learn team-based problem solving. It can be adapted to benefit anyone from youth groups and schools to leadership teams and corporate groups. We offer sessions ranging from a few hours to full day and over night retreats. Customize your session to include themes that will most benefit your group: communication, trust, unity, or leadership.
