• What is the history of THE OAKS?
  Acquired by World Impact in 1986, THE OAKS has grown to include 647 acres and on-going development of a wide range of facilities. Usage of the camp over this time has increased from 2,000 camper days during the first summer of operation to over 25,000 during this current year.
  Full-time missionary staff have been added as well to host and facilitate the events that occur here.

• What volunteer opportunities are available?
  We regularly have volunteers help us with projects, check here for our current list of opportunities.

• Is THE OAKS available for an individual family to come and stay?
  Our focus and operation is for group use only. Contact us for specifics related to minimum group size and appropriate related use.

• Can I have my wedding at THE OAKS?
  While this mountain setting is a beautiful place, our focus, schedule and staffing do not allow us to accommodate weddings.

• What is there to do at THE OAKS?
  There are a wide range of recreational options at THE OAKS including volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, hiking and a game room with pingpong and foosball. Swimming (in season), archery and several adventure activities can be facilitated by our staff upon minimum two week advance request.
