Jeff and Terri Bell

Jeff and Terri have been career missionaries for World Impact at THE OAKS for over ten years. They both agree that the Lord was preparing them in past job experiences for present job responsibilities at the camp. Their adult children Roseann, Eric and Matts, had the privilege of working at THE OAKS during the teen years. They as a family have considered it an honor to serve while watching lives transformed by the message of hope through Jesus Christ.

Jeff is the Director of the Maintenance Department and has the daily challenge of keeping the facilities running. He coordinates the maintenance staff and many others who are courageous enough to volunteer their time and hard work. In past summers he has helped out as an adopted “Dad” with the Leaders-in-training high school teens. These Leaders-in-training are part of a program that mentors teens, providing them with work experience and practical character building opportunities.

Terri is one of the camp nurses assisting in health screening during registration, emergency first aid and routine camp nursing responsibilities when needed. Together, Jeff and Terri maintain the Creation Celebration (the petting zoo.)  Many of the animals are used during outdoor education and the summer carnival.

The Lord is true to His promises even in the midst of the devastating life circumstances that our inner city campers face daily. He freely gives the only true hope found on this earth. Our prayer for each of you, THE OAKS staff and our campers is that the “God of hope will fill you with all joy & peace as you trust Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
