Paul and Linda Crockett

Paul and Linda have been on staff at THE OAKS since 1992.  They have been married 23 years and are blessed with three children: Lisa (20) attends Biola University and is currently in her Junior year. Jennifer (18) is a senior at Desert Christian High School.  Stephen (13) is in seventh grade at Desert Christian Junior High.  Linda is a full-time home maker and in her "spare time" she manages the camp gift shop.  Paul serves as Director of Guest Relations.

One of our favorite scriptures is Ephesians 3:20 "Now unto Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever." We are privileged to witness the truth of this verse weekly here at THE OAKS.  God moves powerfully in the hearts of those who walk the grounds.  We often hear people say, "We felt the presence of God the moment we drove up the driveway."  May THE OAKS always be known as a hospital for the hurting, not just a country club for saints. We want people tocome as they are, but never to leave as they came. We desire that people will leave forever changed with a deeper walk with the Lord.

A friend once told our staff, "You have the greatest job in the world working at THE OAKS.  You assist God in changing eternal addresses."  We could not ask for a higher calling upon our lives and truly feel privileged to minister here. Yes, the buildings and grounds are absolutely beautiful, but buildings alone are just empty and useless. What makes THE OAKS a special place is the spirit of God resides here and works mightily in the lives of our guests.  Year after year we hear people say they feel God's presence at THE OAKS.  Many have accepted Christ while others have re-dedicated their lives and leave "on fire" to serve Him...forever changed.  Thank you to those who diligently remember us in prayer and also for those who are faithful to support us financially.  We appreciate your partnership in this exciting ministry.
