Dana and Dawn Stewart

 

Dana and Dawn Stewart are from the central Illinois area. Dana was working in a family business and Dawn was a nurse when they met and later married in 1978. In 1988 they moved to Hemet, California to fulfill a two-year commitment with a native American missions organization. They joined World Impact in 1990 and moved to THE OAKS Camp.

Dana served as Operations Manager until 1997 when he accepted the position of Executive Director. Dawn oversees the first aid and safety department and is especially busy during the summer camp season. She also volunteers at Care Net Pregnancy Center in Lancaster.

 

Dana and Dawn have three children. Julia lives in Seattle, Washington.  Her Husband, John is enrolled at Fuller Seminary.  Their son, Hunter, was born on May 18, 2009!  Benjamin is a student at San Jose City College and is interested in music production.  Ian, their oldest son, was killed in action while serving with the United States Marines in Iraq on December 12, 2004.

Dana and Dawn deeply appreciate their faithful supporters who consistently pray for their ministry.
