Hiking Guidelines and Hazards

• Stay on the trails. Please do not cut corners, bushwhack, or destroy plants, trees or natural features.
• Please leave wildflowers for others to enjoy.
• Be alert for snakes, scorpions and tarantulas. They will leave you alone unless provoked. See pictures in the pavilion
• Avoid contact with poison oak. See pictures in the pavilion.
• Let someone know where you are going. Carry water.
• Do not hike alone at night due to possible coyote, bobcat, bear and mountain lion presence. Carry a flashlight.
