Adventure Program

Adventure Facilitators at The Oaks join in our calling to change lives, impact communities, and to pursue God's heart for the poor. Adventure staff help serve our guests through providing high quality activities. These activities offer our guests fun options for their retreat while also providing them with a unique tool to use to engage in transformation. Through Adventure at The Oaks participants have the opportunity to grow as a person, grow as a part of a community, and grow in their relationship with God.

Graduate Nurse/ Registered Nurse Position (Summer Only)

This is a new position assisting a full-time nurse who oversees first aid care year round. The position is for the summer session only.

Where: The Oaks Camp and Conference Center in southern California
When: Mid-June through the first week of August
What: A graduate nurse or registered nurse to provide first aid for children and staff in a camp setting

This is a new position at The Oaks assisting a full-time nurse who oversees first aid care year round. The position is for the summer session only.

Those applying for this position need to have completed an accredited registered nursing program, have made a commitment to Christ and be willing to serve people who live in the inner-city who attend our camp.

The GN/RN works with a RN,BSN with 20 years of experience in the field of camp nursing, performs all the regular duties of a camp nurse and helps to mentor the first aid assistant.

This is a great opportunity to build leadership skills, to use and increase your RN knowledge base while ministering in a Christian camp environment.
