Outdoor Science Education for Homeschoolers

THE OAKS outdoor education staff has been providing experiential learning the last twelve years through science-based activities grounded in God's literal word. We teach by taking academics outdoors! We believe creation is a beautiful part of life and to be enjoyed, studied and wondered over, but ultimately to refocus our attention on our Creator.

Our purpose is to further the teaching that is already taking place during the school year, and to foster teamwork, discovery, communication and cooperation skills. We expect for chaperones to be available and present with all students, in a 1:6 ratio to the students present. Our staff will provide basic First Aid needs at all times.

We are offering you the chance to join our program each fall and spring at our camp. You will have exclusive use of our facilities and teaching staff if your group size is over 20 or more students, or you can join with our programmed schools during specific days for the season.

Please contact the camp for further information, register now, or visit us to find out more about the Outdoor Education program here!

The purpose of meetings, seminars and activities at THE OAKS is to educate and inspire attendees with Biblical teaching and instruction. We also desire to follow government guidelines which require attendance at meetings for organized camps and educational organizations. Your participation at these meetings is necessary for us to accomplish these goals. Please plan to attend all meetings.
