Summer Positions Information

We are still accepting applications for LIT male counselors, 2 media interns, 1 rock and water instructor... Please contact us with any questions!COUNSELING POSITIONS - Minimum age 18 or H.S. Graduate. $210/week
- Share Christ with campers, lead devotions, apply loving correction; help with evening program and activities.
- Train and oversee our Leaders in Training.
INTERNSHIPS - Minimum age 20 or Jr. in College. $240/week
- Maintain pool, supervise lifeguards, and run swimming lesson program.
- Assist in supervising the summer camp staff and in running the program.
- Assist the camp nurse with duties.
- Teach canoeing and rock climbing to campers; assist in adventure activities.
- Assist in supervising Leaders in Training program teens and staff.
- Take pictures, create nightly slideshows and weekly video compilations, and run the sound system.
- Supervise and train LITs in media, assist in media creation and direct AV equipment.
LEADERSHIP POSITIONS - Minimum age of 19 or H.S. Graduate $210/week
- Plan curriculum for all Bible lessons and devotions; Supervise Bible Team.
- Assistant program staff in administrative duties and managing our point incentive system.
- Plan all crafts classes, purchase supplies, run kiln, train L.I.T. helpers.
- Lead staff worship, camper praise/worship, teach choir class or dance/drama, coordinate skits, coordinate talent show.
- Teach and coach classes and individual sports; maintain equipment, supervise archery, oversee miscellaneous tournaments.
- Supervise and drive boat and jet skis on lake; supervise all waterfront activities.
- Organize placement of Leaders in Training in their service assignments.
- The female senior counselors' main role is to support, encourage, and help L.I.T. female counselors in their responsibilities.
- The male senior counselors' main role is to support, encourage, and help L.I.T. male counselors in their responsibilities.
SERVICE POSITIONS - Minimum age 18 or H.S. graduate
- $210/week, ability to lift 50 lbs.
- $210/week, ability to lift 50 lbs.
- $210/week, teach swim lessons, assist aquatics director in pool maintenance and lifeguarding.
