Job Description

We’re looking for individuals to help our guest groups have a great dining experience at The Oaks. Employees in this position will serve in a number of different roles in our kitchen and dining hall, such as assisting in food preparation, serving line, dishes, and cleaning.

Accommodations

Job Description

We’re looking for individuals to help our guest groups have a great retreat experience at The Oaks. Employees in this position will provide hospitality services in sleeping areas, meeting rooms and public areas. This includes room set up of chairs and tables and laundry services.

Lifeguard

Job Description

Our lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of The Oaks pool patrons by preventing and appropriately responding to emergencies. They also assist the Lead Lifeguard with daily, weekly, and monthly pool maintenance tasks as needed and as allowed by age limitations.

 

Qualifications

  1. Minimum age of 15
  2. Must be in excellent condition and have good stroke mechanics
  3. Demonstrates proficiency in all applicable lifesaving techniques
  4. Is observant and attentive
  5. Must swim 300 yards nonstop, using front crawl (200 yards) and breast stroke (100 yards)
  6. Must retrieve a dive brick from the deep end and carry it 25 yards in less than 1 minute and 40 seconds

Adventure Staff
Job Description
Our Adventure Staff help facilitate safe and exciting adventure activities for our guests. We train you on how to safely administer activities such as our high ropes challenge course, Leap of Faith, archery, hatchet throwing, laser tag, and more! (Please note our list of active activities often changes)

Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate activities using approved methods.
  2. Inventory, sort and care for adventure equipment.
  3. Safeguard course use with vigilant inspection of all equipment, procedures, facilitators, and participants.
Applicant must be 16 years of age or older to be an Adventure Helper.
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older to be an Adventure Instructor.
