Help your teens disconnect to reconnect
There’s power in a place that lets teens disconnect from the stresses of life (and sometimes literally disconnect from their technology!) to connect with the Lord, have fun in a safe environment, and connect with friends. This is why many youth pastors share that more life change happens in their youth during the few days at The Oaks then during the entire rest of the year of ministry!
From the city. For the city.
The Oaks has always had a heart for the city. That’s what sets The Oaks winter teen retreat apart from every other camp. Everything we do is designed for urban teens. From spoken word to street art classes to a skatepark, our program is designed to intentionally connect with urban youth and point them to Christ!
Loads of fun, fellowship, and faith!
There are so many reasons to come! Your campers are sure to love the exciting and unique recreation opportunities, the chance for great fellowship with friends, and the engaging staff and teachers pointing them to Christ.
Changes for 2019
Same mission, new approach
We’re always striving to grow in how we can serve youth through camp, and that sometimes requires shaking things up! One of the changes we’re making this year is seeking out partner ministries to run winter camp here (leading worship, doing the teaching, etc.) rather than doing that ourselves. We’re excited for the ways this will increase our partnership with urban ministries as well as keep the price affordable for urban youth.
This means we’re looking for ministries to ‘adopt’ a weekend of camp!
If you’re interested in exploring what that would look like for your ministry, please reach out to us! We’d love to discuss it with you.
If you just want to attend, that’s great too!
We’re working to make these camps available for anyone to still attend, so please contact us if you’re interested in signing up!
(That’s what all the cool kids are calling ‘details’ these days)
January 13th-15th and February 17th-19th
Teens get to stay in our cabins or lodge rooms during winter camp with the group that they come with.
